Artisan Altered Book Journal – Day 2

Join us in this magical space where we will share our treasure chest of techniques and tips to help you create a unique journal of your own. Your handmade journal will be created with recycled materials and other ephemera to fit your individual artistic storytelling.

The workshop will include:

• Selecting papers and vintage ephemera to create an open spine hardcover artisan journal.

• Creating interesting layers combining papers, fabrics and vintage lace.

• Adding layers of textures with embossing and stenciling.

• Including embellishments, tags and ephemera, completing your own very unique journal.

• NOTE: This workshop requires no experience or preparation; just an open mind in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone is free to express themselves.
